Koehler, Mr./Mrs. Edgar (19 NOV 1964)
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Koehler of
route 1, Abbotsford, celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Friday evening,
Nov. 20, 1964 at the village hall, where between 75 and 100 friends and
neighbors gathered to mark the occasion.
The beautifully decorated cake
which centered the table was a gift from the children and grandchildren.
Dorothy Wragge and Edgar Koehler were married at Pierce, Neb., Nov. 19, 1939.
They farmed there until eight years ago, Nov. 29, when they moved to a farm in
the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.)
Mr. and Mrs. Koehler are both
active members of Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford. Mr. Koehler is servign
as an elder in the church and Mrs. Koehler is one of the Sunday school teachers
and also a member of the Priscilla Guild.
Mrs. Koehler is active in the
Rosedale Homemakers Club and is currently president of that group.
The
Koehlers have three children: Mrs. Larry (Diane) Empey, route 1, Abbotsford;
Gary, who attends Wis. State University at Eau Claire, and Rickey, at home. They
also have two grandchildren, Lori Ann and Paul Empey.
Here for the
celebration and the weekend were two of Mrs. Koehler's brothers and
sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Wragge and Mr. and Mrs. James Wragge of
Pierce, Neb.
