Oehler, Sophie (7 DEC 1964)
Mrs. Sophie Oehler of Abbotsford and
Ulysses Oehler of Boise, Idaho, were united in marriage Monday evening, Dec. 7,
1964. The double ring ceremony was witnessed by the Rev. L. McCormick of Chili
in the United Brethren Church at Dorchester at 8 o'clock.
Attending the
couple were the groom's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tischendorf,
and the bride's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Oehler, all of
Dorchester.
For her marriage, the bride chose a brocaded beige ensemble
accented by a shoulder corsage of red roses and white carnations and mums.
The matron of honor was attired in a light green metallic dress and the
bridesmaid wore a similar dress in pink. Yellow mums and white carnations were
combined in their corsages.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Oehler left on a week's
honeymoon trip to Forest, Ia., where Mr. Oehler has two sisters and other
relatives. On their return they will make their home on Pine Street in
Abbotsford.
