Hamm, Sylvia K. (Kriplean) (23 MAR

Sylvia K. Hamm, 76, Friendship, died on Wednesday,
Aug. 29 at Strawberry Medical Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral
services were held on Tuesday, September 4, at Big Flats Community Church, with
Pastor Milton Duntley officiating.
The former Sylvia Kriplean was born
on March 23, 1936 in Medford to the late August Paul and Lena Lee (Cornwall)
Kriplean. She graduated from Medford High School in 1954.
On November
13, 1955, in Norway, Michigan, she married William “Bill” Hamm II, who survives.
She worked in the Milwaukee and Waterford areas for 14 years, and they
ran S & B Upholstery in Medford from 1979 to 2009.
She was a member of
Big Flats Community Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, animals, fishing,
camping, music, people and making wood.
In addition to her husband,
survivors include five children, Dennis of Union Grove, Terry (Robin) of
Burlington, Kevin and William III “Chopper,” both of Medford, and Cindy of
Missouri; a sister, Audrey Dahl of Medford; a brother, Adrian of West Allis; 13
grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
