At
11:30 Saturday morning, May 2, Barbara Hoeser and Gary Millard were united in
marriage at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Norbert King read the
nuptiasals.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hoeser, Loyal,
and the groom is the son of Mrs. Ila Millard, Marshfield.
A dinner for
relatives was held following the ceremony at the Star Lodge Hotel. In the
afternoon a reception was held at Braun’s Bowling Alleys, followed in the
evening by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride’s
gown was a satin street length dress of ice blue. She carried a white prayer
book with a small bouquet of white roses with blue carnations on it.
The
bride’s sister, Mary Ellen was her attendant and was attired in a white street
length dress of Peu de Sol, with a bell shaped skirt. She wore a short head veil
and accessories of ice blue carnations.
The best man was Dale Hoeser,
brother of the bride. The bride and groom are both 1961 graduates of Loyal High
School. He is employed at the Clover Cream Dairy, Marshfield and the bride is
employed in the office of the Weyerhauser Co.
The couple will make their
new home at 403 North Cherry Street, Marshfield.
