A dinner for relatives was held following the ceremony at the Star Lodge Hotel. In the afternoon a reception was held at Braun’s Bowling Alleys, followed in the evening by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride’s gown was a satin street length dress of ice blue. She carried a white prayer book with a small bouquet of white roses with blue carnations on it.

The bride’s sister, Mary Ellen was her attendant and was attired in a white street length dress of Peu de Sol, with a bell shaped skirt. She wore a short head veil and accessories of ice blue carnations.

The best man was Dale Hoeser, brother of the bride. The bride and groom are both 1961 graduates of Loyal High School. He is employed at the Clover Cream Dairy, Marshfield and the bride is employed in the office of the Weyerhauser Co.
