Garbisch, Martin (Abt. 1892-May 1964)
Funeral services for Martin Garbisch, age 72, who passed away at his home
Wednesday afternoon were held at Zion Lutheran Church at Granton at 2 p.m. on
Saturday with the Rev. F. C. Benecke officiating. Burial was in the church
cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Harlin, Leland Reich, Harold Schlinsog,
Wendel Crothers, Otto Schmidtke, and Jack Crothers.
Colleen and Connie
Montgomery accompanied at the organ by Miss Ruth Garbisch sang “Just As I Am,”
“Asleep in Jesus,’ and “Rock of Ages.”
Attending the services from out of
town were a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kolub, Beloit; another
daughter, Rosemary of Neillsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Andrew Billman and son, Bell Gardens, California; a brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
William Garbisch, Bell Gardens, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Wilbur Billman, Burlington; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Schroeder, Racine; and many relatives and friends from Beloit, Rockford,
Illinois, Loyal, Chili, Manawa, Eagle River, Neillsville, Milwaukee, Horicon,
Eau Claire, and the Granton area.
