Barton, Annabelle (19 OCT 1889 - 27 FEB 1940)

Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis (Annabelle) Barton Sr., 50, who died of cancer at the Marshfield Hospital Tuesday evening, where she had been a patient for four months, were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville.

The Rev. J.A. Biegler officiated and burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Barton was born on Oct. 19, 1890 (actually 1889) in the town of Eaton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Farning. She was married to Lewis Barton, and until two years ago lived on a farm in Eaton Township.

Surviving are her husband, Neillsville; a daughter, Mrs. William (Leona) Davis, Neillsville,a dn three sons, Leo and Marion, Chicago,a dn Lewis Barton Jr., Weston. Also surviving are two half-sisters, Miss Iola Farning and Miss Helen Farning, Wausau, and four half-brothers, John Farning and Ed Farning, Wausau, Clarence Farning, Colby, and Robert Farning, Park Falls.
