Miss Evelyn Hatton and Craig Asplin, both of
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage Saturday, March 9, 1940, at
ten a.m., Rev. G.R. Longenecker officiating in a double ring ceremony, which
took place at Sunset Point.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark
Hatton, Greenwood, was dressed in a navy blue crepe & wore a lovely corsage of
pink and white carnations. She was attended by Miss Bethel Asplin, sister of the
groom, who was dressed in Alice blue crepe. Her corsage combine yellow daffodils
and paper white narcissi.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinto
Asplin, Greenwood. He was attended by the bride's brother, Donald Hutton.
A wedding reception was held the home of the bride's parents, twenty-five
close relatives being in attendance.
The couple will make their home at
Owen, where the groom is employed with the Western Condensing Plant.
