George Kuznacic, 88, Sheboygan, devoted
husband and loving father, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, at Fountain Park United
Methodist Church, Sheboygan. Rev. Warren Waddell officiated.
George
Kuznacic was born on Dec. 3, 1924, the son of Blasé and Goldie (nee Cakanic)
Kuznacic. On June 10, 1950, he married Marie Pakiz, in Neillsville. Together
they enjoyed nearly 63 years of marriage. George was employed by the Town of
Sheboygan Highway Department until his retirement. He was a dedicated volunteer
firefighter for the Town of Sheboygan for many years. George enjoyed gardening
and his days were filled volunteering, bee keeping and helping others. George
was always there for his friends and family whenever they needed him. With a
loving heart, he touched the lives of everyone he met.
George is lovingly
survived by his wife, Marie Kuznacic; children, Judy (Ken) Beckley, Sheboygan,
Sandra (Mike) Krainz, Milwaukee, Lynn (Keith) Strysick, Cleveland, and Carol
Kuznacic, Lee’s Summit, Mo., grandchildren, Leslie (Jeff) Ellair; Tammy (Ron)
Kmiecik, Christopher (Susie) Beckley, Eric Krainz, Jessica (Matt) Daniel, Angela
(finace Al Bartosik) Krainz and Justin Strysick; great-grandchildren, Marcus,
Daniel, Elizabeth, Audrey, Eve, Maximillian, Anthony, Josephine, Ambrose, Axel,
Marin, Marie and Matthew; one brother, Paul Kuznacic; one sister-i-law, Julie
Kuznacic; one brother-in-law, Frank (Rose) Pakiz; and numerous nieces, nephews
and other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his
parents; brothers and sisters, Tony (Lorraine) Kuznacic, John Kuznacic, Barbara
Markusch, Ann (Edward) Dekanich, and Rose (Joe) Semenic; a sister-in-law,
Delores Kuzacic; a brother-in-law, Gilbert Pakiz, and his mother-in-law and
father-in-law, Olga and Mirko Pakiz.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund
has been established in George’s name.
Ballhorn Chapels & Crematory,
Sheboygan, assisted the family with arrangements.
