Reigel, John (19 June 1961-19 May 2013)

John W. Reigel, 51, Marshfield, died on Sunday, May 19, 2013, in the emergency room of Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, May 22, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Eric Berns officiated. Burial took place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Serving as pallbearers were Bruce Trampush, John Meyer, Virgil Esselman, Ronald Esselman, Randy Gessert and Eric Beels.

John was born on June 19, 1961, in Marshfield, to Edward and Adella (Nee Gessert ) reigel. He was a graduate of Spencer High School. He farmed in the town of Spencer his entire life. John enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially his niece and nephew. He also enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his mother, Adella Reigel, Marshfield; two sisters, Susan Reigel, Marshfield, and Kathy (Michael) Leader, Colby; a nephew, Bradley (Ashley) Leader; and a niece, Kristina Leader.

He was preceded in death by his father on Sept. 1, 1994.
