Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz announced the arrival of their 30th grandchild, a little boy named Fredrick Matthew, born to their son and his wife, Herbert and Joan Nitz, at Meridian, Idaho, Aug. 31st.

Mr. and Mrs. Brandt and Mrs. Anna Paap spent last week with relatives at Nekoosa so that they could be near Mrs. Brandt and Mrs. Paap’s mother, Mrs. Henry Schmidt, who is in the hospital after a fall in which she broke her hip.

Mrs. Cora Brandt and son Paul of Mulberry, Ind. Are spending the week with the Clifford Maniers.

Mrs. Ida Matthiesen of Marshfield and Marlin Brandt of Sheboygan spent the weekend at the Dick Brandt home.

A large group of relatives and friends attended a shower for Sherry Miller and Larry Gerrits at the Don Miller home Saturday evening The young couple received many lovely gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Booth and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon LaMarche and family were Sunday afternoon visitors and supper guests at the Charles Nitz home.

Mrs. Dick Brandt and Mrs. Don Miller were among a group of ladies that attended a cradle shower for Mrs. Tony Tratz at the Frank Krueger home Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Ida Matthiesen spent Saturday evening with Mrs. Alma Johnson.

Jimmy Gilbert accompanied his grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Gilbert, on a fishing trip near Cornell.
