Schoengarth, Virginia J. (24 July 1920 - 30 April 2013)

Virginia Johnson Schoengarth, 92, passed away April 30, 2013 of complications with Parkinson’s.

She was born the daughter of Harry John Johnson and Louise (Nissalke) Johnson July 24, 1920, in Dubuque, IA. She grew up in Madison. She married Lowell Dodte Schoengarth Aug. 7, 1943, and he preceded her in 1998.

Survivors include her children Lowell Don (Dassel), Richard John (Deborah), Barbara Doyle (John) and Carol Foemmel (Douglas); 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends in Neillsville, Mesa, AZ, and Columbia and St. Louis, MO.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Roger and Richard; and half-sister Esther Wilner.

A private service will be held by the family in Wisconsin this summer.
