Miss Ruth Enhelder, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Willis Enhelder of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) was united in marriage to
Edward Susa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Susa, on Sunday, June 2nd, 1940 at 2:00
p.m. at Sunset Point by Rev. G. W. Longenecker, pastor of the Congregational
Church of Neillsville. A double ring ceremony was used.
Miss Grace
Enhelder, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and Harold Heck of Greenwood
was the best man.
The bride was attired in an aqua colored gown, trimmed
in fuchsia and she carried a bouquet of purple lilacs. The bridesmaid wore a
pink gown and carried a bouquet of lilacs.
A reception and wedding supper
were held at the bride's home. Eighteen guests were present. The home was
decorated with lilacs.
The bride was a graduate of the Neillsville High
School with the class of 1937 and has been employed as practical nurse at the
Neillsville Hospital for over two years. The young couple will reside in
Neillsville.
The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending
congratulations and best wishes for a happy married life.
