Mohr, Sp4 Marvin (Military Notes - 1969)
Sp4 Marvin Mohr arrived at the
home of his parents (Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Mohr, Rt. 2 Neillsville) September 1
from Vietnam, where he has been serving as a rifleman in the 1st and 22nd
Infantry in the 4th Division, for the last year. Sp4 Mohr, a 1967 high school
graduate, entered the army in April of 1968 and received his basic training at
Ft. Gordon, GA. From there he was sent to Ft. Polk, La. On completion of his
training there, he spent a 21-day leave at his home and left for Vietnam
September 14, 1968.
He is to report to Ft. Hood, Tex., October 9, where
he expects to be stationed for the remainder of his time in service.
