FINAL RITES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. KRACH

Rev. R. Goessling of the First Congregational Church, Owen, conducted the final rites held for Mrs. Elizabeth Krach at 2:00 o’clock Saturday, August 15. The service was held at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home with burial being made in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery.

Mesdames Perry Larson, Ervin Zelm and Veryle Auberg were in charge of the floral offerings while Tomisch, Perry Larson, Henry Anderson, Norbert Bruchert, Jim Richter, Paulson and Ervin Zelm served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Krach slipped quietly into eternity at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, at the Nursing Home in Stanley where she had been a resident for three weeks during which time she had been treated for complications associated with advanced years. She had attained the age of 82 years, two months and 23 days.

She was born May 19, 1882, in Austria, Hungry. In 1903 she was united in marriage to the late Michael Krach while still a resident of Austria, Hungry. In 1906 the couple came to the United States settling in Chicago where they lived until his retirement. They then moved to this community where she made her home up until the time Mr. Krach passed away in 1951. Since that time she had made her home in Chicago until coming to Stanley three weeks prior to her death.

During the time she and her husband lived in the Owen and Withee community she made many friends with whom she maintained contact by her frequent visitations. Her passing is mourned by this host of friends who share the sorrow of her family, two sisters, Mrs. Helen Adams of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Bergman of California; two sons, Nick of El Monte, Calif, and Mike of Owen, and nine grandchildren.

Among those attending the services for Elizabeth Krach were Mr. and Mrs. James Krach, Sharon and Laura, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Moscinski, Kathey, Ricky and Mike, Mrs. Helen Adams, Eve Adams, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Mulholland, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mulholland, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Adams, Mr. John Adams and son, Terry, all of the Chicago area. A grandson, S/Sgt. And Mrs. William Krach, stationed in Okinawa, and a son, Nick Krach, of El Monte, Calif., were unable to attend.
