Archelle Ampe spent the week end
with home folks.
Mr. and Mrs. B Poppe called on
friends at Colby Sunday.
Mrs. Shober and son Casper and
grandson Harold Paasch took the Franciscan Sisters to La Crosse Sunday.
Marie and Bobby Lindekugel
visited with Mrs. Poppe Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Noll of
Neillsville and son George of Janesville and Mrs. L. Struble and sons Laurence
and Delbert of Granton visited at the Shober home Sunday afternoon.
A few from here attended the free
dance at Seltrecht’s Wednesday.
Paul Lindekugel spent Saturday
evening with home folks returning again to Westboro Sunday.
Miss Anna Linder called at the
Shober home Friday evening.
Mrs. A. Ampe and daughter Odette
called at the Beauty Parlor at Greenwood Wednesday.
Miss Cornetta Phipps of Loyal and
Velda Brown called at the Poppe home Friday evening.
Peter Kutz called on Ed Hinker
Thursday eve.
A birthday party was held at the
Andrew Lindner home Wednesday eve in honor of Mrs. Lindners’ anniversary.
Lunch was served and a good time had by all.
Don Afkind is employed at the
Pabish home.
Mr. and Mrs. George Rude and sons
of Neillsville and Mrs. Tom Erickson and children had a picnic Sunday at Lake
Isadore.
John Giese and Sig Jensen were
business callers at Neillsville Saturday.
The 4-H Calf Club had their
annual picnic at Lake Isadore Sunday.
A good time was had by all.
Mrs. Scharenbrock called on Mrs.
Ora Little last Tuesday eve.
John Bushman called on George
Pabish Friday evening.
John Wuethrich had one of his
fingers crushed very badly while moving an ice machine and is under the doctor’s
care.
Mr. and Mrs. Casper Lindner took
their year old child to Dr. Olson Friday where a slight operation was performed.

Miss Edna Hinker spent Friday
afternoon with Bernice Friske.
Bert Brown of Loyal did plowing
for John Wuethrich and Martin Afkind.
Norman Friske is helping with the
work at John Wuethrich’s.
Miss Edna Hinker and Mr. and Mrs.
George Stiefvater and son were callers at the George Pabish home Tuesday
evening.
Marcellus Hinker has been
employed at the John Wuethrich factory the past two weeks.
George Pabish did some plowing
for Albert Mathtison last week.
Richard Hinker spent Sunday with
Raymond Kitzhaber.
Rob Wall and Pete Kutz were
Wednesday forenoon callers at Sig Jensen’s.
Leo Johnson called on Will Syth
Thursday.
Gerald Denk is now employed at
the John Wuethrich farm at present, while Leonard is laid up with a sore foot.
