Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keiner were Marshfield visitors Friday.

W.G. Hartson was a visitor at Abbotsford Saturday.

W.F. Neuenfeldt attended a meeting of Editors at Abbotsford Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Merle Hales of Neillsville were week end visitors at the Geo. Haeuser home.

Mrs. C.J. Carter and Mrs. P.W. Gullord left Sunday for a weeks stay at Pike Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Borham and son Harold and Frances Schiller were Marshfield visitors Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Christenson and daughter Mildred of Arpin visited at the Chas. Afkind home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stabnow of North Freedom visited Monday and Tuesday with relatives of this city.

H.F. Stabnow returned Monday from North Freedom where he spent a week visiting relatives and friends.

Otto Moldenhauer and family are moving into the upstairs flat in the Ed Schwarze residence.

Mrs. J.H. Etta of Loyal and Mrs. A. Mitthias of Curtiss were Saturday visitors at the Harold Stabnow home.

Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Amundson and family spent Sunday with relatives and friends at Emerald, Wis.

Lenord Leberg and daughter Delores of Pittsville were Friday visitors at the Christ Keiner home.

J.D. Austin, Sylvester Plank, Jas. Plank, Charles Neuenfeldt and Hugh Severson were at Cornell Sunday on a fishing trip.

Mrs. J.R. Thomas attended the graduating exercises of her sister, Miss Lola Amidon at Madison, Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sorenson and Mrs. Margaret Knopf of Abbotsford visited Monday evening at the Geo Haeuser home.

Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Neuenfeldt and son James left yesterday for a few days visit with relatives and friends at Fox Lake.

Mrs. Marie Huegel and son Arnold, Mrs. Miller and daughter Geraldine of West Bend were Sunday visitors at the Joe Merkel home.

Mrs. Jake Blum and daughter Virginia of Marshfield and Mrs. Rausch of Kewaskum were visitors Thursday at the Jos. Merkel home.

Mmes W.T. Austin, H.M. Pratt, Harold Stabnow and R.E. McIntyre plan to leave today for Pike Lake for a few days outing.

Mrs. Art Sischo returned Sunday from La Crosse where she underwent another operation on her eyes to remove a cataract.

Joe Brauneis has a lovely patch of potatoes which are all in blossom and far ahead of the average stand.  Mr. Brauneis also has a good variety of sturdy tomato plants for sale.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kuester and son Harold and Miss Lilly Kuester, all of Milwaukee spent from Friday until Monday with the latter’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kuester.

Mrs. Adolph Jackson, Mrs. Fred Behrens and the Misses Irma, Lucille and Lillian Behrens left yesterday for Chicago to visit relatives and attend the Worlds Fair.

The Four-County Club meeting at Greenwood a week ago Sunday is comprised of members from Green, Dane, La Fayette and Iowa counties.  There was a fair attendance and a fine time is reported.  This is a social organization, originated 8 years ago this month at the George Rude farm in the town of Warner and has met annually since that time.  At one time there were about 200 members.  A picnic lunch was enjoyed, after which there was a program and business meeting.  The following officers were elected:  Oscar Rear, President; Dr. Wm. Olson, Vice-President; Mrs. M Dahl, Secretary-Treasurer.  Program Committee; Mrs. Tom Erickson, chairman, Mrs. Fred Sears and Mrs. Geo. E. Rude.

Mrs. Christ Keiner is spending the week with relatives and friends at Pittsville.

Mrs. John Horn left last week for Madison where she entered the General Hospital for an examination.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Noyes of Sacramento, Calif., were Greenwood visitors Tuesday.  Mr. Noyes is a son of J.E. Noyes at the one time publisher of the Greenwood Gleaner.

Mrs. Herman Lieske and Miss Edna Lieske of Loyal were Thursday visitors at the Christ Keiner home.

The West Side Ladies Aid meet Wednesday June 27th at the Emil Noah home.  This change is made on the account of the 4th of July being on our regular meeting day.

Mrs. Carl Strozewski and children, Mrs. Wm. Kling and children of Hatfield and Joyce Strozewski of Millston spent Wednesday at the H.A. Westcott home here.

Roy Krokson and Oscar Meinholdt were arrested for fighting Saturday.  In Peter Scherr’s Police Court Monday, Krokson paid a fine and costs amounting to $9.50 and Meinholdt paid a fine and cost amounting to $8.50.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rifleman stopped for about one and a half hours with the Bishop’s Saturday morning.  They were on their way from their home in Rhineland to Minneapolis where they were to take in the Shriners’ festivities.  Mr. Rifleman’s mother and sister of Wausau and Miss Lorraine Wilson of Rhinelander accompanied them.  Mrs. Rifleman will be remembered by older Greenwood residents as Leona Allds.
