Humbird (11 September 1969)
Mr. and Mrs. Mel Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Walker and daughter attended
the Minnesota State Fair.
Art Allen was in Madison recently for a checkup
on his eyes. He was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Mel Markham.
Last
Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shefchik of Loyal and Anna Millea of Lodi visited
at the Herb Adler home. Mrs. Gertrude Geldernick of Loyal spent Wednesday with
her sister, Mrs. Adler, while her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Frances
Geldernick and daughter of Lyle, Ill., were in Eau Claire. They visited later at
the Adler home.
Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice and Mildred enjoyed a
picnic supper at Ed Tande’s Thursday.
Mrs. Emma Gerber spent Sunday
afternoon at the Daniel Simonson home near Hixton and was accompanied home by
Miss Lisa.
Funeral services were held Sunday for Mrs. Raymond Stewart.
She had been ill a long time.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Lightfoot attended t he
wedding of their granddaughter, Diane Lightfoot, to Michael Thompson in Mondovi
Saturday night.
Mrs. Archie Kirby has not been very well lately and
expected to enter a hospital in Rochester this week.
