Breseman, Clara V. (12 August 1900 - September 1969)

Funeral services were held from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton at 2 p.m. Monday for Mrs. Walter (Clara) Breseman, with the Rev. William Dushek of the United Methodist Church in Neillsville officiating. Burial was made in the Sherwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Norman and Chester Freedlund, Alfred Fields, Charles and Milden Schwanebeck, and Walter Miner.

“For Me to Live is Jesus” and “Asleep in Jesus” were sung by Elsie Garbisch. Mrs. Leland Garbisch was organist.

Mrs. Breseman, the former Clara V. Zagers, was born August 12, 1900, in Holland, Mich. She was married in 1925 in Neillsville to Walter Breseman. The couple operated a farm in the town of Lynn before moving to the Town of Sherwood 22 years ago. She was injured fatally in a car-truck collision last Thursday afternoon
