Chili (18 September 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. Russel Johanknecht of Waupun were guests Saturday night and Sunday of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bender. Saturday night they all were supper guests of Mr. Bender’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Henninger in Granton, in observance of Mr. Henninger’s 70th birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Fuller of Rio called Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bender.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Steffen visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Hildebrandt, and family of Menasha Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bartsch and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bandt and daughter, bonnie, spent the weekend in Kenosha, where they helped Mrs. Bartsch’s brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Renne, observe their 25th wedding anniversary, Saturday. Mrs. Bandt had been one of the attendants at their wedding. Sunday they visited Mrs. Bartsch’s sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Al Habig and family.

Jean Mellantine of Marshfield was a weekend guest of her friend, Judy Ziegler, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ziegler.
