FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR GEORGE AMMENTORP

George Ammentorp, 69, of 508 Garfield Avenue, Eau Claire, died Friday evening. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from Lenmarks’ with the Rev. R. Howard Fehr officiating. Interment was in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Ammentorp was born in Withee, and had been a resident of Eau Claire since 1922. He owned and operated an automobile and tire shop in Eau Claire for many years. He as employed at National Presto Industries for 17 years.

Mr. Ammentorp was a member of the Immanual Lutheran Church, the Eau Claire Lodge 112 F & AM, the Shrine and the Consistory. He is survived by his wife, Victoria; one son, George P., of Minneapolis, one daughter, Mrs. Carol Christanson of Eau Claire; two brothers; Olaf of Withee, and Emil of Wausau; one sister, Mrs. Marie Dahl of Great Falls, Montana, and five grandchildren.
