Raine, Mrs. John (Serious Injury –
25 AUG 1915)
Last Wednesday evening Mrs. John Raine was seriously injured
in a runaway. She was driving with her daughter-in-law when the buggy broke and
frightened the horse, which ran east from the Raine home. Mrs. Raine was thrown
from the buggy near the Aug. Roder farm and she sustained a broken arm and
severe bruises about the face. Mrs. Fred Raine escaped without any serious
injury. It was a very close escape for Mrs. Raine and her friends are rejoicing
that her injuries are not even more serious than they are.
