Evans, Myrtle (4 SEP 1915)
On Saturday evening Louis
Hantke and Miss Myrtle Evans were united in marriage at Ripon by Rev. Peters.
The attending couple was Miss Clara Lynch and Alex Mahike of Ripon. The bride
and groom have returned to this city and have gone to housekeeping in the
sheriff’s residence. The groom is the sheriff of Clark County and is so well and
favorably known throughout the county that he needs no introduction. His bride
is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Evans, a graduate of the city schools and
has been a successful teacher for a few years and was also assistant to the
county superintendent of schools for a short time. She is a capable and pleasing
lady who has won a place in the high esteem of a large circle of friends. The
Times extends its most cordial congratulations.
