The farewell party at Mr. Spears’ was well attended and all report
a fine time.
School commenced Tuesday with Miss Lezotte as teacher.
Mr. Hanson of Eau Claire is here looking over his land.
A good many
are filling their silos these days.
The frost did lots of damage to corn
and other crops.
Some from this vicinity attended the fair. There would
have been many more if the frost had not come.
Mrs. Agnes Leighton and
Miss Gladys Satterlee were Neillsville callers Monday.
The sewing circle
will meet with Mrs. August Anderson Thursday, Sept. 16.
William Horton is
putting up a new silo.
Corn is about all cut.
G.D. Schultz is
hauling lime for his basement. Mr. Rice will lay the wall.
