Abe Vande Berg lost a horse last week Tuesday.
There was a gathering of the Mortimer family last Tuesday night at the home
of J.F. Mortimer for an ice cream eat. It was enjoyed very much.
The
weather the past week was ideal for stacking and the farmers all took advantage.
C.B. Northup is in this vicinity with his threshing outfit, and experienced
a break-down last Saturday.
Misses Bessie and Alice Mortimer returned to
their home at Chilton last Thursday, after a week’s visit here with relatives.
