Vivian M. Haroldson, 49, of Iola, died Sunday, January 1, at St.
Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point. Funeral services were held Wednesday,
January 4, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Rev. Albert E. Houts and Sister
Annette Johnson, associate pastor at St. Mary’s Parish in Custer, officiated.
Burial was held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Voie Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
The former Vivian M. Rindt was born January 23,
1945, in Medford to Chester and Viola (Czerniak) Rindt. She graduated from
Taylor County Teachers College and then from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens
Point in 1970.
She married Leonard Haroldson on August 10, 1970, in
Iola. She was a teacher at Iola Elementary School for 25 years. She had taught
third and fifth grade. She retired four years ago.
Survivors include her
mother, Viola Rindt of Medford; her husband, Leonard; a son, Glenn (Valerie)
Haroldson of Iola; two sisters, Mary (Chuck) Egle of Custer and Carol (Wally)
Berndt of Menomonee Falls; and a granddaughter, Stephanie.
She was
preceded in death by her father, Chester, and a sister, Arlene Wanke.
