Theodore J. Potazek,
55, Athens, died Thursday, Oct. 4, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct 8, at St. Anthony Catholic Church
in Athens, with Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Burial took place in the parish
cemetery.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home of Athens assisted the family
with arrangements.
Theodore Potaczek was born November 6, 1945 at
Stanley to Henry and Mary (Pogodzinski) Potaczek.
He married Carol
Gilbertson, who survives, on December 14, 1981, at Freeport, Ill. He owned and
operated Potaczek Scrap Company in Athens since 1967.
In addition to his
wife, survivors include his father Henry, Jim Falls; three children, Aaron,
Michele and Melissa, all at home; a brother John, Mosinee; a sister, Carol (Bob)
Vach, Jim Falls; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his
mother and two half sister, Cheryl and Mary.
