Metz, Dianne Marie (5 NOV 1947 - 21 JUN 1970*)

Death notices obtained from the Medford High School, Class of 1963 Index of Kay (Resech) Ludwig.

Funeral services for Miss Dianne Marie Metz were held Wednesday morning at St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Athens. Rev. Ralph Geissler officiated and burial took place in Calvary cemetery.

The body lay in state at Gilles and Sons funeral home, Athens, from Tuesday afternoon until services. Rosary devotions were held Tuesday evening.

Miss Metz was born November 5, 1947, at Marshfield. She attended St. Anthony’s parochial school in Athens and was graduated from Athens high school in 1966. She completed teacher training at Taylor County Teachers college, graduating in 1968. She was a member of the teaching staff at the Loyal parochial school and had attended summer sessions at the marathon branch of the University of Wisconsin, Wausau.

In addition to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Metz, Miss Metz is survived by a brother, Richard, Milwaukee, and three sisters, Mrs. Robert Kaltenbach, Miss Marian Metz and Mrs. James Clendenning, all of Milwaukee.

Miss Metz and Allen Jochimsen planned to be married Saturday, (rest of obit copy cut off).
