Gierl, Laurnia (Marriage - 20 September 1969)
Approximately 90 guess were present at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby
Saturday for the marriage of Laurnia Gierl of Colby to Frank Seidel of
Dorchester, in a double-ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
The bride chose a
street-length coat dress of pearl gray satin with a belt-effect pleated back.
The rolled collar was accented with crystal beads. She wore a pink petal
headpiece and white gloves. She carried two shades of pink roses on a white
clutch purse.
Mrs. Elaine Hebert served her mother as matron-of-honor.
She wore a street-length coat dress of blue faille, with a pleated belt-effect
and a blue petal headpiece.
Donald Seidel, son of the groom, was best
man. Richard McNeight of Stratford and Ward Keller of Calumet City, Ill., were
ushers.
The Children’s choir of St. Mary’s church sang.
A
reception was held at the Colby city hall, followed by a dinner in Colby for 100
guests.
Mrs. Seidel is employed in Marshfield, and the groom in
Dorchester.
After September 27 they will reside in Colby.
