Mr. and Mrs. Taylor of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs.
Stelloh, Mrs. Clara Pagenkopf, Mrs. Barney Plummer and daughter, Sandra, and
family called Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Art Odell.
Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Trachte and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Stevens visited last week Tuesday
evening at the Lyle Abrahamson home in Fairchild. Mrs. Abrahamson was the former
Arlene Trachte.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Stewart, Jovey, Jana and Jeff, and Mrs.
Frank Stewart of Verona spent Saturday night and Sunday at the Ralph Short home.
Mrs. Harold Elmendorf and Carrie Sexton were Sunday dinner guests there. Jeff
and Jana Stewart are members of the Verona High School band which played at the
Wisconsin-ULA football game at Madison Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. John
Reinart and daughter, Judy attended the silver wedding anniversary celebration
of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Opelt at the American Legion Hall Saturday night.
Vasili Malakoff spent last week with relatives and friends in Chicago.
Mrs. Floyd Wall spent a few days at the Irving Stevens home.
Mrs. William
Tullis and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz called Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Art
Odell.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams visited Sunday evening at the Leland
Buddenhagen home in Pine Valley.
Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis, Mr. and
Mrs. Lewis Scholtz and Mr. and Mrs. Art Short were guests Sunday evening at the
Ralph Short home.
Mrs. DeWayne Mashin and sons of Tomah spent the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Vandeberg and
sons were supper guests there Saturday.
Jack Urban, Irving Stevens and
Claude Kyle drove to Chippewa Falls and other places Friday.
Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Kuhn and son were Sunday dinner guests of his aunt, Mrs. Ed Short.
Mr. and Mrs. Louie Matousek and Mrs. Frank Short called Saturday evening at
the Frank Matousek and Kenneth Short homes. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matousek called
Sunday at the Short home.
Mr. and Mrs. Merle Austin visited Monday at the
Ralph Short home.
