Edward L. Milz, route 1, Loyal, aged 49, died Monday
morning at7:30 a.m. at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, of a heart attack.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with
Rev. Norbert E. King officiating. The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral
Home beginning Wednesday morning. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Edward Milz was born January 27, 1915, at Cresco, Iowa. He was married to
Louella Albertson on February 24, 1941, at Cresco, Iowa. The couple farmed in
Iowa until 11951 when the family moved to a farm north of Loyal.
Mr. Milz
is a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and is a K.C. member. A general
rosary will be held Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m.
Besides his wife, he
is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Paul Jirak Jr. (Sharon) Waucoma, Iowa; Mrs.
James Welsh (Patricia), Loyal; Nancy, Beverly, Susan at home; six sons, Duane,
Raymond, James, Dean, Kenneth and Timothy, all at home, and three grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph, and Charles of Lima Springs, Iowa;
and five sisters, Mrs. Ronald Loey, Dubuque, Iowa; Mrs. Stanley Veach, also of
Dubuque; Mrs. Joseph Shea, Cresco, Iowa; Mrs. James Shea, Tennimore, Wisconsin;
and Mrs. Edward Schroeder, Chicago.
