The marriage of Sara Lynn Curran,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Curran, town of Chelsea, and Dennis C. Cook,

Co., Wis.), took place Saturday , Dec. 26, 1964 at a 7:30 nuptial service at
Christ Church Federated, Medford. The Rev. William Warner officiated.
The
bride wore a sheath gown with detachable chapel train fashioned of satin
brocade. The fitted bodice featured a scoop neckline and long tapered sleeves,
and the skirt was topped with a bow at the waist. A dainty bow and floral
headpiece trimmed with seed pearls held her bouffant veil of pure silk imported
English illusion. She carried a cascade arrangement of white chrysanthemums,
stephanotis and salal leaves, and wore a cultured pearl necklace and earrings,
which were a gift of the groom.
Maid of honor was Miss Kathleen Curran,
Medford, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids, all friends of the bride, were
Mrs. Corlas Meier, Medford, Miss Judy Judd, Shawano, and Mrs. Jon Brandner,
Medford.
Best man was the brother of the groom, Douglas Cook of Unity.
The groom's attendants were Robert Carlson, Madison, Wayne Hibbard of Chicago,
and Harley Johnson of Colby.
The bride's brother, Billy Curran, served as
junior usher. Other ushers included Robert Scudder, South Milwaukee, Terry and
Jeff Cook, and Kenneth Bovin, Unity.
Vocalist at the wedding was Juanita
Reimann. She sang "The Song of Ruth" and "Draw Near to Me.".
Approximately 200 guests attended the supper and reception at Pete and Ruth's.
The bride is a January 1964 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a
bachelor's degree in education. The groom received his master's degree in civil
engineering from the University of Wisconsin last June, and is presently
employed by the Federal Bureau of Roads, Washington, D.C.
Following an
8-day honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Ocean City, Maryland, the couple will
make their home in Arlington, Va. until March, after which they will move to
Minneapolis.
