------ Krinke, Daisy (25 APR 1964)
Miss Daisy Krinke of Grand Marsh and Norbert Sackmann of
Abbotsford exchanged vows in St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Abbotsford Saturday,
April 25 at 11 o’clock. The Rev.
Raymond B. Schulz read the double ring marriage ceremony before the nuptial high
mass.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Krinke of Grand Marsh and Mr. and Mrs. William Sackmann of Athens.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pinter of
Abbotsford, friends of the couple, as honor attendants, and Miss Nancy Krinke
and Roger Krinke of Grand Marsh sister and brother of the bride.
Herbert Sackmann of Medford and James Krinke of Ripon
performed the ushering duties.
The bride, who was presented in marriage by her brother,
Grant Krinke of Ripon, wore a floor length gown of white sheer with lace trim on
the bodice and the skirt. Her
fingertip veil was secured to a crown of pearls and crystals.
A pink and white color scheme was carried out in the
wedding decor set in the spray of pink roses and white mums which topped the
white prayer book which the bride carried.
Her attendants wore light pink street length dresses of
nylon sheer and pink veils. They
carried pink roses and white mums and vases of pink and white carnations graced
the altar of the church.
For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Krinke was attired in a
tan ensemble. The grooms’ mother
chose a print dress of blue and black.
Both mothers had corsages of yellow and white mums.
Following the ceremony, dinner was served in the church
hall after which a reception was held at the groom’s home.
In the evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sackmann greeted friends at a
wedding dance at Sportsmen’s Park, Colby.
They are now at home at route 1, Abbotsford.
The groom is employed as cheese maker at Marathon-Clark
Cooperative Dairy Association at Abbotsford.
Prior to her marriage the bride was employed as a
housekeeper.
Guests attending the wedding came from Athens,
Stetsonville, Medford, Grand Marsh, Muskego, Ripon, Merrillan, Alma Center,
Colby and Abbotsford.
