Mrs. Laura Krantz, 93, formerly of rural Abbotsford, died at the Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin, on April 21.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Marshfield followed by interment in Hillside cemetery.

The former Laura Arvilla Notbohm was born Feb. 16, 1871, at Farmington, and received her education there.  After her marriage to Theodore Arthur Krantz, the couple lived for a time at Ft. Atkinson and later in Redfield and Frankfort, S. Dak., after which they moved to a farm near Abbotsford.  About 15 years ago they moved to Auburndale.

She is survived by three sons, Erwin Krantz, route 1, Auburndale; Harold Krantz, route 2, Auburndale, and Lavern Krantz, Athens, Ohio; two brothers, Albert Notbohm, Chelsea, and Edward Notbohm, Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Krantz, Fort Atkinson, and Mrs. Emma Roder, Colby; four grand children and four great grand children. 

Mr. Krantz preceded her in death in 1951.  Five brothers also preceded her in death.

Among relatives from this vicinity who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timm of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pope of Stetsonville and Al Notbohm of Chelsea.
