Osgood, Ethel (14 FEB 1914)
J.H. Burch and Miss Ethel Osgood
gave even their oldest friends the slip Sunday night when they took the midnight
for Stevens Point and had Wilson Mallory tie them up with the matrimonial knot
there Monday morning. After a short
wedding trip they returned here on Wednesday.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Osgood was born here and has
grown up among us, studying at our school and at home, mastering the house
keepers arts and studying music under local instructors.
The groom is a young man from Washington, D.C. who came here last summer
and entered livery man Geo. Rose’s employ and by his industry and good habits
has continued in that work. They
expect to begin house keeping in the near future.
The News with their many friends
join in best wishes for a long and happy married life.
