Max Opelt received a car load of
flour the latter part of last week.
Fred Breseman transacted business
at Marshfield Saturday.
Mrs. R.C. Norman went to
Neillsville Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Beecher and
children are visiting relatives in Granton this week.
Henry Grassman of Marshfield
spent Sunday at home.
News received here that Henry
Bowker and Will Hams of Rudolph formerly young men of this place have just
recently married young ladies of Rudolph whose names the writer did not learn.
Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn
attended the party of Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Amidon’s in Granton Saturday evening.
Richard Gotter transacted
business in Lindsey Thursday.
Clara Hankey entertained a dozen
of her little friends on her birthday Saturday.
Miss Elsie Neitzel closed her
school at Merrillan on account of measles and is home for a short vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Ole Buss of the
Ridge visited Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Hale Sunday.
C.W. Chubb left last week
Wednesday for Milwaukee and Wauwatosa on business and a visit with his brother.
Mrs. Chas. Altenburg and daughter
Nellie of East Lynn, accompanied by Misses Etta and Emma Altenburg visited
friends in York last week.
Max Opelt transacted business at
Neillsville Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Martin
entertained the Max Opelt, Wm. Sternitzky and O.W. Becker families last Sunday
for supper.
The Embroidery Club will meet
with Mrs. Fred Hankey this Friday afternoon.
Mrs. R.C. Norman was shopping in
Marshfield last week.
Ernest, Wm. and Henry Sternitzky
and daughter Anna and Herman Yankee returned from their trip to Ashland the fore
part of this week.
Miss Electa Brooks is spending
the week in Neillsville having dental work done.
Alvin Cole transacted business at
Marshfield Tuesday.
Mrs. R.C. Norman and little
nephew Craig Montag visited friends at Wrightsville Saturday and Sunday.
Miss Martha Nitschke was shopping
in Neillsville Monday.
Rumor has it that Oscar Johnson
has bought Mrs. Frances Steinbach’s farm and Herman Riedel has purchased Oscar
Johnson’s farm.
