James Metcalf, 80, Greenwood, died at his home as the result
of a heart attack Thursday noon.
Funeral services for James Metcalf were
held Monday at the Zion United Church of Christ, Greenwood, with the Rev. Orval
Egbert officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors
include his wife, the former Clara Vollrath; one daughter, Mrs. Ben Dallman,
Greenwood; three sons: Leroy, Greenwood; Everett, Brookings, S.D.; and Dale,
Random Lake; one foster son, Major Lyn Blecha, of Nancy, France; 13
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Freeman and William,
both of Hayward.
