Rosemeyer, Ida (22 OCT 1887 – 16 OCT 1964)
Mrs. Raymond
Rosemeyer, Stanley, died Friday at Victory Memorial Hospital after a long
illness. Today would have been her 77th birthday.
Funeral services were
held on Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Stanley; the Rev. Edmund
Cramer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The former Ida
Budden was born in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin. She and her husband lived in the town
of Taft, Clark County, from 1917 until 1957 when they retired and moved to
Stanley. She was a member of the Christian Mother’s Society of St. Anne’s
Church. Mr. and Mrs. Rosemeyer noted their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 8.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five sons: Raymond and Charles,
Wideby Island, Wash.; Robert, Grayslake, Ill., Justin and Eugene, Thorp; three
daughters: Mrs. William Podvin, Waupun; Mrs. John Ganrath, Seattle, Wash.; and
Sister Mary Rebecca, Dubuque, Iowa; one brother, Arther Budden, East Dubuque,
Ill.; four sisters: Mrs. Ralph Clark, Hppenjan, Cuba City; Sister Clements,
Minneapolis, and Miss Cecelia Budden, Dubuque; 30 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
