Wantland, Hobart
(19 OCT 1896* – 06 AUG 1965)
Word has been received here of the death of Hobart Wantland of 2028 A West Nash
St., Milwaukee.
Mr. Wantland, 68, died August 6 in Kansas City where he was visiting.
His death was the result of a heart attack.
He had lived in Kansas when a young man.
The funeral was held at 67 N. Capitol Drive at 1:30 p.m. August 10.
Mr. Wantland and family lived in Loyal for many years.
While here, although blind, he served for several years as Justice of the
Peace.
The family moved to Milwaukee in the early 1940’s.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Lloyd, John and Allen; and one daughter
Mrs. Wallie (Verla) Gumhold, all of Milwaukee.
Eight grand children also survive him.
