Ratsch, Bruce#2 (24 AUG 1945 – 27 OCT 1965)

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30 for Bruce Ratsch, 20, of route 1 Greenwood at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Christie who died Wednesday, October 27 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.  The Rev. F.C. Benecke, Granton officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.

He was born August 24, 1945, at Neillsville.  He attended rural schools, and was graduated from the Loyal High School in 1963.  He attended an auto mechanics vocational school in Eau Claire and had been employed at the Midland Cooperative in Greenwood the past summer.  He had been in ill health since August.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ratsch, route 1, Greenwood; a sister, Charlotte, Wayside, a brother, Stanley, at home; and his paternal grandfather, Herman Ratsch, route 1, Neillsville.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Christie.
