Lucht, Elsa
(22 May 1888– 06 NOV 1965)
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 10 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Loyal, for Mrs. Elsa Lucht, 77, who died at 6 a.m. Monday, November 8,
at her home. The Rev. A.M.
Moldenhauer officiated and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
The former Elsa Oestreich was born May 22, 1888, in the town of Sherman and
received her education there. On
October 12, 1910 she married Charles Lucht, who preceded her in death in 1960.
They lived on a farm in the town of Loyal until 1948, when they moved to
Spokeville. In 1960 Mrs. Lucht came
to Loyal to live.
Mrs. Lucht was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pat (Elaine) Bertz, Loyal; and Mrs. Dale
(Ruth) Weyhmiller, route 1, Loyal; a son, Gerhardt, Spencer; two sisters, Mrs.
Evelyn Vogel, Valley City North Dakota; and Mrs. Jens Yde, Tucson, Arizona; five
brothers, Frank and Lothar Oestreich, Loyal; Harry and Dennis Oestreich,
Wisconsin Rapids; and Walter Oestreich, Park Falls; seven grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
A brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
