Dietsche, Evelyn
(27 OCT 1884 – 13 DEC 1965)
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 16 at the Myre Funeral Home for
Mrs. Ben Dietsche, 81 Spencer, who died at 8:30 p.m. Monday, December 13 at St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. The
Rev. Paul Doering, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church officiated and burial
was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Erickson, Gordon Phillips, Paul Dietsche, Richard
Pecourek, Joe Bymers and Allen Dietsche.
Mrs. Paul Doering accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Byron Zepplin sang “Just As I
Am” and “Safe In The Arms of Jesus”.
The former Evelyn Hutchins was born October 27, 1884 in Dundee County, and as a
child moved with her parents to the Unity area where she received her education.
Her marriage to Ben Dietsche took place May 13, 1919 at Loyal.
After their marriage they lived at Riplinger until 1948 when they moved to the
Spencer area. For the past year she
had resided at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.
She was a member of the Loyal Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Jesse Lyon, Hingham, Montana; and
many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dietsche was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, and two sisters
