Cammers, Marguerite
(22 SEP 1900 – 16 DEC 1965)
Mrs. Art Cammers, 65, route 1, Loyal died of a heart attack at her home at 10:30
a.m. Thursday, December 16.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 20, at St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church. The Rev. Norbert E. King
officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.
The former Marguerite Leatherdale was born September 22, 1900, at Loyal and had
lived her entire live in this area.
Her marriage to Art Cammers too place October 27, 1920, at St. Anthony’s
Catholic Church.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Altar Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Earl, Loyal; two brothers,
Vernard Leatherdale, Loyal; Gerald Leatherdale, Beaverton, Oregon; two sisters,
Mrs. Paul Stillman, Granton; and Mrs. Alfred Wicks, Logansville, and two
grandchildren.
One daughter preceded her in death.
