Schlinkert, Theodore C. (6 August 1897 - 26 October 1969)

Funeral services for Theodore C. Schlinkert, 72, of Neillsville, who died October 26, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roland H. Roehrs, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church at Granton, officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Joe Urban, Jr., Paul and Alvin Jacob, Henry Markwardt, Carl Thoma and Walter Saibold. “Asleep in Jesus” and “Be Still My Soul” were sung by Mrs. Harold Mayer, accompanied by Mrs. Clarence Wegner.

Those from out of town attending included: Herbert Schlinkert of Ramsey, N. J.; Mr. and Mrs. George L. Johnson and daughter, Patricia, of Mount Horeb; Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hinkelmann of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Schoenherr of Columbus; and Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Kaiser, Mrs. Herman Gandt and Mrs. Myrtle Baerenwald of Marshfield.
