Rodman, Horrace
(80th Birthday - 1969)
Monday night Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rodman were
surprised by a group for friends who called on them to help Mr. Rodman observed
his 80th birthday. A potluck lunch was enjoyed by those present, including: Mr.
and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz, Mr. and Mrs. William Hrasky and Franklin and Carol, Mr.
and Mrs. Walter (Buster) Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagen, Ruth Ebert, Mrs.
Elmer Dodmead and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt.
During the evening the
children of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kuhn called their grandfather and sang, “Happy
Birthday” to him by phone.
Sunday, the Rodman’s were guests of their
daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kuhn and family, at a birthday
dinner.
