The wedding of
Miss Arlene Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bush, route 1, Florence, and
Gerald Lenz, son of Mrs. Florence Lenz, Colby, took place Saturday, Jan. 9,
1965, in St. John's Lutheran Church, town of Wien (Marathon Co., Wis.). The Rev.
A.J. Zaiser officiated.
For her wedding the bride wore a gown of
Chantilly lace over satin with a full short skirt of silk organza. Her headpiece
was a crown of crystals holding a brief veil. She accented her gown with a
corsage of red roses and white carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schultz,
route 1, Edgar, were the couple's only attendants. Mrs. Schultz wore a deep blue
velvet dress designed with a scoop neckline and belled skirt Her headpiece was a
band of pearlized flowers, and her bouquet was of white carnations trimmed in
blue.
Usher for the wedding was James Lenz, Colby. Music was provided by
vocalist Delmar Telschow, accompanied by Mrs. Glen Schilling at the organ.
Following the ceremony there was a reception and dinner at the parental Lenz
home.
The newlyweds plan to tak a wedding trip in June. Both are employed
at West Side Employers Mutual, Wausau. The bride is a graduate of Florence High
School and her husband is a Colby High School graduate.
