Dignin, Mr. and Mrs. Cullen (Golden - 1969)
Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday by
holding open house in the American legion hall from 2 to 5 p.m.
Mrs.
Ellis Williams had charge of the guest book, Mrs. Sharon Huff of Chicago cut the
wedding cake and Mrs. Raymond Stuve, Mrs. Laura Dignin and Mrs. Mat Kubicek
helped with the lunch.
Out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Nibbe, Vicki and Skip, Mrs. Steve Kushneruk and Mrs. Alma Aracy of Hobart, Ind.;
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nibbe and Harry Nibbe of Red Wing, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Vern
Hart of Northfield, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hart and Missi of Faribault,
Minn.; Mrs. Sharon Huff of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hines of Lockport, Ill.;
Mr. and Mrs. Mat Kubicek of Owatonna, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Crandall and Mr
and Mrs. Earl Langworthy and children of Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bryner of
Silver Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Burr and son, Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Bedell and four children, all of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald
Parks and children of Marshfield ; Mrs. Delores Oligney of Black River Falls;
Mrs. Tommy Bobb of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Losey and Mr. and Mrs. George
Hoke of Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Gil Blom of Price; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Sieg and
Jeff of Alma Center; Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fitzmaurice
of Augusta; Miss Lucille Dunn and Mrs. Mae Dunn of Winona. There were many local
guests also.
Mr. and Mrs. Dignin received many gifts and cards and gifts
of money. As they opened the gifts to old time favorites, “Silver Threads among
the Gold” and “Put on Your Old Grey Bonnet” were sung by the guests.
Both
Mr. and Mrs. Dignin are enjoying pretty good health and are active in the
American Legion and Auxiliary, the United Methodist Church and the Woman’s
Society of Christian Service.
