M.C. Redmond was at Marshfield Tuesday afternoon.

Gus. Deutsch was here from Granton Tuesday on business.

Wm. Jacques was at Black River Falls Tuesday on business.

Henry Williams of Granton transacted business here Tuesday.

Art Kurth went Eau Claire Tuesday to spend a few days.

Mrs. Thomas Hitchcock of Alma Center was in the city Tuesday.

Henry Muck of Lake Mills spent Monday here with his mother and sister.

Tony Shipper of Maiden Rock, Minn., visited his family here over Sunday.

Mrs. Kemery went to Sparta Tuesday to spend most of the winter with her daughter.

Attorney Jackson and Mack Andrews were here from Colby on business Tuesday.

Mrs. C.D. Stockwell of Spooner spent Tuesday here at the home of C.S. Stockwell.

Wm. Goeden was at Fairchild, Humbird and Black River Falls the first of the week.

Max Wagner of Marshfield sent Monday evening and part of Tuesday at the home of Aug. Perwitz.

Chas. Babcock was called home Saturday from Hewett by the illness of his mother, but returned to his work Tuesday, his mother being considerably improved.

J.L. Richardson and wife left Tuesday for Watertown where Mr. Richardson will engage in the garage business with his brother, who went there some few days ago.

W.W. Dearth, manager of the electric company, has put up a fine thermometer and barometer on the Neillsville bank corner. It is electrically lighted an also contains the advertising cards of a number of business men. It is a fine thermometer and will come in handy during the coming cold winter mornings.
