Mrs.
Frank Kopecky left Saturday for Milwaukee to spend the holidays.
Miss
Grace Lastofka spent Christmas at Neillsville at the P. Lastofka home.
The program at the schoolhouse last Friday night was fine from beginning to end.
Miss Anderson, the teacher, is spending her vacation with her parents at Owen.
Dale G. Fulwiler of Marshfield spent Christmas here at his home. He returned
again Wednesday.
Mrs. Ed Northup has been suffering with an abscess in
her head.
Herman Miller, Milt Snyder and Charley Peck have prepared for
cold weather by having the wood saw.
John and Joe Lastofka have a wood
job in the former's woods and are busy with the task.
H.A. Nonhof and
T.W. Davis of Foemmel Corners, and Harlan Potter and lady from County Farm
Corners, were up to the doings at the schoolhouse Friday night.
Judge
James O'Neill and County Judge O.W. Schoengarth of Neillsville spoke in behalf
of the Red Cross at the schoolhouse last Friday night.
Mrs. George
Ruprecht of Neillsville was in our midst on Friday.
