The farmers are busy stacking.
Gust Anderson has a new windmill.
Gene Cole, of Fairchild, was a caller at John H. Johnson’s Sunday.
Arney
Hagen and Martin Estenson left for the harvest fields in N. Dak., last Monday.
John Gill our only soldier, went to St Paul Monday to attend the G.A.R.
encampment.
Mrs. Erlandson, of Eau Claire, is staying with her father,
Jacob Johnson, during his illness.
Miss Karin Hugdahl, of Eau Claire, was
a visitor with the Misses Kay from Friday until Sunday.
Martin Lund spent
Sunday and Monday with his parents here, leaving for Necedah Monday evening.
Quite a number of people came here from Augusta Sunday to attend the church
sociable at Gust Anderson’s.
Miss Melvina Thompson left for Minot N. Dak.
last Monday to join her parents who moved there a year ago.

Travis and children, of Augusta, were visitors with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Gust Anderson, from Friday until Sunday.
The coffee sociable at Gust
Anderson’s last Sunday afternoon and evening was a social as well as a financial
success. About eight dollars were realized.
Miss Anna Lund returned home
from B.R. Falls Saturday. She was accompanied by little Lawrence Lund who will
spend a few weeks with grandparents.
Misses Ida and Odelia Person of Alma
Center drove home last Monday to spend the day. The former returned home Tuesday
while the latter will remain at home for some time.
