I.C. Houghton and wife left last Saturday for
a ten day or two weeks’ visit with their daughter at Big Foot Prairie, Ill.
Jesse McBernie, who moved with his parents from here seven years ago,
returned to the village last Sunday and expects to remain. His father lives near
Menomonie.
Principal Jahr has recovered from his illness and came over
from his home to begin the year’s work in the high school last Monday.
Mrs. Chas. Brandstedter went to Ladysmith Tuesday, being called there by the
serious illness of her sister’s, Mrs. Chas. Robelia, child.
